Hexagonal Triple Twisted Wire Mesh Gabions are reinforced wire mesh containers made with three twist hexagonal mesh fabric, providing superior strength and resistance to deformation.

Application: Triple twist wire mesh gabions are mainly used for retaining walls, slope stabilization, erosion control, and riverbank protection permanent gabions work.

Features of Triple Twisted Mesh Gabions:
Compared to double twisted wire gabions, triple twisted wire gabions offer greater tensile strength and durability due to the additional twist in the mesh;
Triple twisted mesh gabions are more expensive;
Slightly less flexible compared with double twisted gabions.

Technical specification for metress baskets:

Gabion mattress baskets are constructed from steel wire EN 10223-3 standard.
Gabion wire material: Steel wire heavily galvanized with Galfan, a Zn-5%Al-MM (mischmetal) alloy coating and a 0.5 mm thick PVC/Epoxy coating.  

Minimum weight of zinc coating per unit area of uncoated wire surface min. 200 gms per square meter.
The tensile strength of the wire shall be between 40-50 kg / mm2 

Gabion mattress basket triple twisted to form a hexagonal mesh of 80 mm x 100 mm.
Gabion mesh wire: 10 gauge wire
Tolerance on diameter of wire  ±2.5%. 

Edge wire of Gabions: Selvedge wire 8 gauge.
