Gabions and Revet Mattress Galfan Coated PVC Coated ASTM A975 Standard Compliant for Erosion Control Retaining Wall, Revetments, Sea Wall and River Bank Protection

We supply hexagonal mesh gabions made from double twisted wire mesh panels of Zn-5A1-MM (Galfan) coated steel wire American standard compliant. The gabion baskets and mattresses galfan coated are manufactured in accordance with ASTM A975 Standard Specification for Double-Twisted Hexagonal Mesh Gabions. These gabions are wire mesh containers filled with suitably durable stone at the project site to form flexible and permeable erosion control retaining walls, sea wall, revetments and other civil engineering applications.

Supply and Delivery of Gabions with Components:

The gabions are delivered in pre-assembled collapsible mesh panels with lacing wire for connecting panels.
Lacing wire of the same corrosion treatment with gabions mesh is supplied for gabions and revet mattresses, used to assemble and interconnect empty units, to close and secure stone-filled units and for internal stiffeners.
Fastener can be supplied, as an alternative to lacing wire, for binding of gabions and revet mattresses.
Stiffener of the same finish with gabions can be supplied for support of facing by connecting the front panel to the back panel of a gabion.

Gabions Galfan Coated PVC Coated (ASTM A975 Compliant) - manufactured in accordance with ASTM A975 Standard Specification for Double-Twisted Hexagonal Mesh Gabions and Revet Mattresses.

• Length: 1 m - 6 m (3 ft - 20 ft)
• Width: 0.5 m - 1 m (1.5 ft - 3 ft)
• Height: 0.3 m - 1 m (1 ft - 3 ft)

Material:

• Double twisted mesh is manufactured from Zn-5Al-MM metallic coated steel wire (commonly known as Galfan coated wire) conforming to Specification A 856/A 856M, Class 3 coating, soft temper.
• Wire used complying with ASTM A764.
• Minimum coating weight as per ASTM A764 for appropriate environmental conditions.

Revet Mattress Gabions Galfan Coated PVC Coated (ASTM A975 Compliant)

Description: Revet mattress is double-twisted wire mesh container uniformly partitioned into internal cells, with relatively small height compared with gabion baskets, having smaller mesh openings than the mesh used for gabions. Gabion mattresses are generally used for riverbank protection and channel linings.

Mechanical Properties

Tensile Strength: The tensile strength of wire used for double-twisted mesh, lacing wire, and stiffener shall be in accordance with the requirements of Specification A 641, A 809, and A 856/A 856M for soft temper wire.

Fasteners are made from zinc-5 % aluminum mischmetal alloy-coated steel wire conforming to Specification ASTM A 764.

Mesh and Panel to Panel Joint Strength meet the minimum strength requirements of the mesh, selvedge wire to mesh connection, panel to panel connection, and punch test.
